Dr. Edith Nuñez Baza, DAOM, L.Ac. is a doctor of Acupuncture and Chinese Medicine. She received her doctorate and master’s degree from The American College of Traditional Chinese Medicine. Dr. Edith has extensive experience in acupuncture, positional release, tuina, shiatsu and herbal therapies. With this broad knowledge and experience she creates personalized treatment sessions to guide each unique individual back to health. Each treatment heightens relaxation and awareness, decreases pain, increases mobility, and restores overall well-being. Her areas of expertise include rehabilitation of acute injury, chronic pain, stress management, and all aspects of women’s health. She also loves working with patients on matters of health optimization and preventative medicine.
Inspired by the beauty and natural healing abilities of the human body and a desire to better understand her own health and injuries, Edith made the decision to follow her heart by practicing medicine. In 2011 she left her career of nearly 10 years in corporate retail and has been a dedicated student and practitioner of medicine ever since. She is driven by a desire to provide compassionate care and facilitate personal growth and development for people on their paths to greater health.
When she’s not seeing patients, Edith enjoys breathwork and learning anything breath related, meditation practices, yoga, traveling and exploring new ways to optimize her own health. She loves spending time connecting with nature, soaking in the sun, and watching the skies.
